An election was held in Kent on 5 May 2016 to elect a police and crime commissioner for the county. The following results were declared by the returning officer:

Under the alternative vote electoral system, a candidate needs to win more than 50% of the votes to be elected. As no candidate received more than 50% of the votes in the first round, the two highest polling candidates went through to a second round. The second preferences of the eliminated candidates, where applicable, were added to the two remaining candidates' votes.
