Jonathan Shaw is a former Labour member of parliament for Chatham and Aylesford. He represented the constituency between May 1997 and May 2010.
During his time in parliament, Jonathan served as minister for disabled people, minister for the South East, and parliamentary under-secretary of state for marine, landscape and rural affairs.
Jonathan is also a former Labour councillor for Wayfield ward on Rochester-upon-Medway city council. He represented the ward between May 1995 and March 1998.
Jonathan has stood in two elections to Rochester-upon-Medway city council, and has been elected on one occasion.
