Francis Argent is a former Liberal Democrat councillor for South ward on Gillingham borough council. He represented the ward between May 1996 and March 1998.

In addition to South, Francis represented Gillingham South ward between April 1998 and February 1998.

Francis has stood in one election to Medway council and one election to Gillingham borough council, and was elected on both occasions.
