Mark Jones is a Labour and Co-operative councillor for Strood West ward and the vice chair of the planning committee. He has represented Strood West ward since May 2023.
In addition to Strood West, Mark represented River ward between May 2003 and May 2007, Warren Wood ward between April 1998 and May 2000, and Medway South Central division on Kent county council between May 1993 and March 1998.
Mark has stood in eight elections to Medway council, one election to Kent county council and one election to Rochester-upon-Medway city council, and has been elected on four occasions.

Voting History
