Ms. P. Jones is a former Liberal Democrat councillor for Weedswood ward on Rochester-upon-Medway city council. They represented the ward as a Liberal Democrat councillor between March 1988 and May 1991, but also represented the ward as an SDP-Liberal alliance councillor between May 1987 and March 1988.

Ms. P. Jones has stood in one election to Gillingham borough council and one election to Rochester-upon-Medway city council, and has been elected on one occasion.
