An election was held in St Nicholas and Troy Town ward on 7 June 1973 to elect three councillors.
It was the first election to be held in the ward following a boundary review. Labour won all three of the new seats.
Ms. V. Wilkinson, David Crowhurst and Ms. D. Smith were elected as councillors for the ward.
