An election was held in Thames Side ward on 7 June 1973 to elect three councillors.
It was the first election to be held in the ward following a boundary review. independent candidates won all three of the new seats.
G. Connolly, Rachel Lapthorn and B. Santrey were elected as councillors for the ward.
