An election was held in Thames Side ward on 6 May 1976 to elect three councillors.
Prior to the election, all three seats were held by independent councillors. Following the election, the Conservatives gained two of the seats from independent councillors and an independent candidate held the reamining seat.
Richard Filmer, Rachel Lapthorn and S. Tomson were elected as councillors for the ward.
