An election was held in Chatham and Aylesford on 6 May 2010 to elect a member of parliament for the constituency.

Labour won the previous election in 2005 with a majority of 2,332. At this election, the Conservatives gained the seat from Labour with a majority of 6,069.

Tracey Elizabeth Anne Crouch was elected as the member of parliament for Chatham and Aylesford.
