A referendum was held in the parish of Cliffe and Cliffe Woods on 4 May 2023 to decide on whether or not to adopt a proposed neighbourhood plan for the parish.


A referendum was held asking the following question:

Do you want Medway Council to use the Neighbourhood Plan for the Cliffe & Cliffe Woods neighbourhood area to help it decide planning applications in the neighbourhood area?


The following results were declared by the returning officer:

  Yes 1,152 87.1
  No 171 12.9
  Turnout 1,323 30.3
