Baron Bottomley of Middlesbrough
Lord Bottomley is a former Labour member of parliament for Rochester and Chatham. He represented the constituency between February 1950 and October 1959.
During his time in parliament, Lord Bottomley served as minister of overseas development, secretary of state for commonwealth relations, parliamentary under-secretary of state for dominion affairs, and secretary for overseas trade.
