An election was held in Gillingham South ward on 5 May 2011 to elect three councillors.
Prior to the election, all three seats were held by the Liberal Democrats. Following the election, the Liberal Democrats held two of the seats and Labour gained the reamining seat from the Liberal Democrats.
Geoff Juby, David Colman and Sheila Veronica Rose Kearney were elected as councillors for the ward.
