Chris Huhne

Chris Huhne is a former Liberal Democrat member of parliament for Eastleigh in Hampshire.

During his time in parliament, Chris served as secretary of state for energy and climate change.

In February 2013, Chris pleaded guilty to perverting the course of justice over a 2003 speeding case. In March 2013, he was sentenced to eight months in prison.

He resigned from his cabinet role as secretary of state for energy and climate change when he was charged with the offence in February 2012. He subsequently resigned as the member of parliament for Eastleigh and left the privy council in February 2013.
