An election was held in Chatham Central ward on 1 May 2003 to elect three councillors.
It was the first election to be held in the ward following a boundary review. Labour won all three of the new seats.
Julie Nora Shaw, Paul Godwin and James Goldie Wyper were elected as councillors for the ward.
