Strood South By-election
20 October 2016
A by-election was held in Strood South ward on 20 October 2016 to elect one councillor following the resignation of Ukip councillor Catriona Brown-Reckless.
Prior to the by-election, the seat was held by Ukip. Following the by-election, the Conservatives gained the seat from Ukip.
Josie Iles was elected as councillor for the ward.
