An election was held in Brompton ward on 7 June 1973 to elect three councillors.
It was the first election to be held in the ward following a boundary review. Labour won all three of the new seats.
Ms. J. Tebbutt, D. Tidy and J. Winwood were elected as councillors for the ward.
