An election was held in Frindsbury ward on 5 May 1983 to elect three councillors.
Prior to the election, Labour held two of the seats and the Conservatives held the other seat. Following the election, the Conservatives held one of the seats and gained a second seat from Labour, while Labour held the reamining seat.
Ms. D. Griffin, D. Rossiter and John Weller were elected as councillors for the ward.
