Prior to the election, Labour held two of the seats and the Conservatives held the other seat. Following the election, the Conservatives held one of the seats and gained a second seat from Labour, while Labour held the reamining seat.
E. Brennan, C. Hazell and C. Wakelin were elected as councillors for the ward.
