Robert Collier
2nd Baron Monkswell

The Rt Hon. Robert Collier has stood in one election in Medway but has never held elected office within the towns. He most recently stood as a Liberal parliamentary candidate in Chatham in 1885.

In October 1886, he inherited the title of Baron Monkswell and entered the House of Lords as a Liberal peer. He remained in the House of Lords until December 1909.

During his time in parliament, Lord Monkswell served as parliamentary under-secretary of state for war.
