Medway Elects

Lordswood was a three-member ward which elected councillors for the first time in May 1979. The ward was abolished in April 1998 when Rochester-upon-Medway city council was merged with Gillingham borough council.

There have been five elections in Lordswood ward. In the last election in May 1995, Labour received the highest number of votes and won all three seats.

Prior to 1995, voters in the ward had also elected Conservative councillors.
