6 January - 6 February 1835

An election was held in Rochester on 6 January - 6 February 1835 to elect a member of parliament for the constituency.

Prior to this election, the Whigs held one of the seats and the Tories held the other seat. At this election, the Whigs held their seat and gained the other seat from the Tories.

Ralph Bernal and Thomas Twisden Hodges were elected as the members of parliament for Rochester.
