Paul Clark is a former Labour member of parliament for Gillingham. He represented the constituency between May 1997 and May 2010.
During his time in parliament, Paul served as parliamentary under-secretary of state for transport.
Paul is also a former Labour councillor for Twydall ward on Gillingham borough council. He represented the ward between May 1982 and May 1990.
Paul has stood in two elections to Gillingham borough council, and was elected on both occasions.
In December 2022, Paul pleaded guilty to three counts of making indecent photos of children between April 2013 and May 2021, and six counts of distributing indecent images of children between April 2013 and May 2021. In May 2023, he was sentenced to two years and four months in prison.
