An election was held in Strood South ward on 2 May 2019 to elect three councillors.
Prior to the election, the Conservatives held two of the seats and Ukip held the other seat. Following the election, the Conservatives held two of the seats and gained the reamining seat from Ukip.
Josie Iles, Chris Buckwell and Richard Niall Thorne were elected as councillors for the ward.
