Area Development Control East Committee
The area development control east committee had responsibility for determining planning applications, planning and building control enforcement and issues relating to tree preservation orders for the east of Medway until April 2004.
The area development control east committee had responsibility for the following council wards: Chatham Central, Gillingham North, Gillingham South, Hempstead and Wigmore, Lordswood and Capstone, Luton and Wayfield, Princes Park, Rainham Central, Rainham North, Rainham South, Twydall, Walderslade and Watling.
Responsibility for considering planning applications passed to the development control committee in May 2004, and then to the planning committee in January 2010.
