John Moore-Brabazon
1st Baron Brabazon of Tara
Lt Col The Rt Hon. John Moore-Brabazon GBE MC PC is a former Conservative member of parliament for Chatham. He represented the constituency between December 1918 and May 1929.
In April 1942, he was given a hereditary peerage as Baron Brabazon of Tara and entered the House of Lords as a Conservative peer. He remained in the House of Lords until May 1964.
During his time in parliament, Lord Brabazon served as minister of aircraft production, minister of transport, and parliamentary secretary to the ministry of transport.
