George Crozer is an independent councillor for Hoo St Werburgh & High Halstow ward and the leader of the independent group. He has represented Hoo St Werburgh & High Halstow ward since May 2023.

In addition to Hoo St Werburgh & High Halstow, George represented Peninsula ward between December 2022 and May 2023.

George has stood in three elections to Medway council, and has been elected on two occasions.

* During the 2020 coronavirus (Covid-19) public health emergency, it was informally agreed between the two political groups to run Medway Council meetings with a reduced number of participants. This was to reduce risk, comply with Government guidance and enable more efficient meetings. George Crozer's attendance rate may have been affected by this informal agreement of reduced participants.
