Jane Chitty is a former Conservative councillor for Strood North ward. She represented the ward between May 2003 and May 2023.
In addition to Strood North, Jane represented Rede Court ward between April 1998 and May 2003, and Rede Court ward on Rochester-upon-Medway city council between May 1983 and May 1995.
Jane has stood in seven elections to Medway council and four elections to Rochester-upon-Medway city council, and has been elected on 10 occasions.
