Tom Mason is a former Ukip councillor for Strood Rural ward. He represented the ward as a Ukip councillor between March 2015 and May 2015, but also represented the ward as a Conservative councillor between May 2003 and March 2015.
In addition to Strood Rural, Tom represented Frindsbury Extra and Chattenden ward as a Conservative councillor between April 1998 and May 2003, Frindsbury Extra ward on Rochester-upon-Medway city council as a Conservative councillor between May 1979 and March 1998, Medway North West division on Kent county council as a Conservative councillor between May 1985 and May 1989, Medway Rural division on Kent county council as a Conservative councillor between May 1981 and May 1985, Rochester No 3 division on Kent county council as a Conservative councillor between May 1977 and May 1981, and Frindsbury Extra ward on Rochester-upon-Medway city council as a Conservative councillor between April 1974 and May 1979.
Tom has stood in six elections to Medway council, seven elections to Rochester-upon-Medway city council and four elections to Kent county council, and has been elected on 15 occasions.
