was a -member ward which elected councillors for the first time in January 1970. The ward was abolished in May following a boundary review.

There have been 109 elections in ward. In the last election in May 2024, the Conservatives received the highest number of votes and won all seats.

Prior to 2024, voters in the ward had also elected Labour, Labour Representation Committee, Liberal, Radical, Tory, Ukip and Whig councillors.
